Gail Reed, a retired educator of forty two years, lives in Evans, Georgia, with her husband, Travis. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Education degree from Augusta University, and a Specialist in Education degree from the University of Georgia. She has two adult daughters, Shelli and Whitney, and five grandchildren, Connor, Finn, Adley, Reed, and Claire. After retiring from the classroom in 2014, she declared, “I’m not quite finished teaching yet," and started writing. Gail has the firm conviction that the development of good manners and good character is just as important as academics. In her classroom she stressed the importance of etiquette and the role it plays in building relationships. She feels that a child is never too young to begin learning what is expected of them from a behavioral standpoint and that these lessons should be repeated often.
